You will have to add additional points for the bap.
spray oil
950g chuck steak
1red onion, finely chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp coriander seeds
pinch of salt
1 tsp pepperfresh 10g parmesan, grated
1 heaped tsp dijon mustard
1egg
100g breadcrumbs
Heat a frying pan and spray oil. Fry the onion until soft. If it looks like it's going to burn, add a little water. Put to one side to cool
Cut any fat off the steak and cut in to pieces. Pop in the food processer to mince it.
This is the first time I minced my own meat and I did it for too long because it was quite smooth. so be careful of how long you process it.In a pestle & morter, bash up the cumin seeds, coriander seeds and salt & pepper. Add to the meat and mix well. Add parmesan cheese, dijon mustard, onions and half of the breadcrumbs. Shape the meat mixture in to patties and roll them in the remaining crumbs and ensure they are coated.
Heat a griddle pan, or barbeque plate and cook for 8-10 minutes.
